Under the leadership of Dr. Asif Syed, PPS launched the first international career seminar for international medical graduates in the fields of medicine, medical education, pharmaceutical industry, health informatics and research with career advisement for countries that include USA, UK, Australia, Middle East and Pakistan. A special advisement on opportunities in medicine and teaching in Pakistan Armed Forces was included.Dr. Tariq Butt provided opening remarks as President of Chicago Medical Society and offered his insights on opportunities for international medical graduates in USA. He assured continued support for PPS. Dr. Asif Syed and Dr. Kashif Ahmad co-hosted the meeting.Presenters included Dr. Aqil Hasnain UK, Dr. Rizwan Naeem, USA, Dr. Shakir Khan, Pakistan, Dr. Harris Lari, Canada, Dr. Kashif Ahmad, USA, Dr. Suhaib Mustufa, Australia, Dr. Asif Syed, USA, Dr. Andleeb Arshad, Kuwait and Dr. Amir Burney, UK.CME credits were offered and a pre and post survey was collected.
